Job flow
Open a job from Today, Jobs, or Schedule.
Typical flow
Section titled “Typical flow”- Arrive — open the job, confirm customer and address.
- In progress — tap the status control. If you have no signal, the app queues the change and retries later.
- Work the job — notes, photos, parts, maybe an estimate.
- Completed — when the work is done.
Do not mark complete just to “clear the board” if you still owe a part scan or a photo the shop expects.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”Scheduled → In progress → Completed. Cancelled is usually an office decision.
Parts required
Section titled “Parts required”If the shop turned on “parts required” and inventory is not off, Completed stays blocked until you:
- log at least one part, or
- confirm no parts used
That check also runs offline so you do not get a surprise when you regain signal.
After complete
Section titled “After complete”The office creates the invoice. You generally do not bill the customer from the tech login.
Conflicts
Section titled “Conflicts”If you and the office both change status while you were offline, the job may show a conflict after sync. Stop and call the shop rather than toggling status repeatedly.
