Invite your team

Only owners and admins invite people. Open Team (nav label Team; page title Technicians).

Send an invite

1. Click Invite technician.
2. Enter the person’s name and email.
3. Send the invite.

The teammate gets a link (path /invite/…). Invites expire after 7 days. They set a password (same rules as signup) and join your company as a Technician.

You can change someone to Senior technician later from their team profile when you want them to see company-wide jobs and convert estimates. See Team & roles.

SMS invites

The form may also accept a phone number. TODO: confirm whether SMS invites are enabled in production. Until then, treat email as the reliable path.

Accepting an invite (technicians)

1. Open the link from email on your phone or a computer.
2. Set your name and password (or follow on-screen verification).
3. Log in at app.coolroute.app.
4. Install the PWA if you work from a truck.

You will only see your company’s jobs. If you expected a different shop, you were invited to the wrong company — ask the owner to send a new invite.

Pending invites

The Team page lists invites that have not been accepted. Owners can revoke a pending invite so the link stops working.

Seats

Each person who can log in is a paid seat ($49 / month), including the owner. When a technician accepts an invite, Stripe updates the subscription quantity. Deactivating a tech removes that seat. Details: Billing & seats.
