Jobs

Jobs is the shop’s work list. Each job belongs to a customer (and usually a service address).

  1. Jobs → new job, or start from a customer or an accepted estimate.
  2. Set title, customer, service address, assignee, and schedule.
  3. Choose a service type when you know it: AC, furnace, heat pump, mini-split, ductwork, maintenance, or other.
  4. Set urgency: standard, low, same-day, or emergency.
Status Meaning
Scheduled On the books (or waiting in unscheduled)
In progress Tech is on it
Completed Ready to invoice (owners)
Cancelled Will not run

Techs usually move Scheduled → In progress → Completed from the job. See field job flow.

If parts required is on, a technician cannot complete the job until they log a part or confirm no parts were used. Owners are not blocked by that gate.

Expect customer/address, schedule, assignee, status, notes, photos, parts, a linked estimate, and — when the job is completed — a control to create an invoice.

Use Navigate / Maps links only when the device is online.

  • Technician: jobs assigned to them
  • Senior technician, admin, owner: company jobs

Cancelled and completed jobs remain searchable so you can still invoice or review history.
