Sign up

Owners create the shop. Technicians do not self-register — they join with an invite.

Open signup

1. Go to app.coolroute.app and choose Sign up, or open /signup directly.
2. Enter:
   • Company name (this becomes your shop in Cool Route)
   • Your name
   • Work email
   • Password — at least 10 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character
3. Submit.

Cool Route creates your company and an Owner user together. Other shops cannot see your customers or jobs.

Confirm your email

After signup, check your inbox for a confirmation message. You must confirm the address before you subscribe and use the dashboard.

If the email does not arrive, use the resend control on the “check your email” screen, and look in spam.

Subscribe before you work

Paid shops go through Stripe Checkout after email confirmation. Pricing is $49 per active user per month (the owner counts as a seat). Card numbers are handled by Stripe — Cool Route does not store them.

Until the subscription is in a payable state, owners are sent to Billing and technicians see an account-suspended screen. See Billing & seats.

Phone signup

The signup screen may show a Phone tab. TODO: phone signup is marked coming soon in the product (text messages are not connected yet). Use email until that ships.
